Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. Please note that the system is currently restricted to United States Addresses if you need to ship to an international destination please email me at the email below.

When you place an order I will generally ship within 24 hours. I only use the United States Postal System for shipping. You will receive an email with tracking details. Please be sure to provide your correct and active email when you register for your account or update when necessary.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are either USPS Flat Rate Box rates or weight and sized based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound. Please ask if you believe the shipping calculator has excessively rounded up your shipping charges. I will review and adjust. Please contact me prior to paying!

Returns

Our refund and returns policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

You have 14 days, from date of purchase, to return or exchange an item(s). Any item(s) purchased more than 14 days past the original date of purchase must be returned to the manufacturer.

All items being returned for exchange and / or refund MUST be returned in the same new condition which they were shipped to you including the original packaging and all included instructions, manuals, etc. Put the items being returned in a sturdy shipping box to avoid damage. Please do not return items in mailing or shipping envelopes. If an item is sent in an envelope and arrives in a damaged condition no refund or exchange will be issued. Any item(s) that have been modified in any way, such as, but not limited to, changes in appearance, (weathering, decals, painting), additional and/or removed or replaced parts, will not be accepted and will be returned to the customer with no refunds, credits or exchanges given.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note: If any of the above procedures are not followed or you are returning items that are neither damaged or defective, your return will be assessed a 25% restocking/service fee.

  • Sales Items

All book, magazine, calendar, VHS, DVD and Blu-ray sales are final.

Received Returns

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Replacements

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at andysmodeltrains@gmail.com and send your item to: Please Contact Us for the Appropriate Return Address. Please note we may not be able to exchange items for the same product if we do not have another of the same item in stock.

Return Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
